Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern
The book is really an interesting piece of writing. First of all it's written in forms of letters, emails, chat room messages and phone conversations. It presents a reader with a story of Rosie Dunne, whom we meet when she's something around 5 years old and the whole book ends up when she's something around 50. Don't let yourself think it's a piece of boring stuff. On the contrary, it's really compelling, funny, entertainig but also touching and romantic. I would concentrate on the ROMANTIC theme since this one is the most interesting as far as I'm concerned. Rosie and Alex are best friends since arely childhood. They understand each other without words, the rely on each other and can't live without one another. The problem begins when Alex has to move to America with his parents and Rosie stays in Dublin. They decide to keep on staying in touch no matter what. The whole sitiutoion makes Rosie realize that Alex is more important to her than she expected. When, at 18, she decides to reveal her feeling, a total unexpected thing happens to Rosie.... She becomes pregnant... And from then on, things get more and more complicated. Over the years, Alex and Rosie live their own lives, they have their ups and downs, but throughout that time, they keep in touch and talk about everything except the true feeling that binds them... Will they finally be together??? Well, you will have to read the book to find out. I truly loved it!!!!
