Heaven is for Real by Todd Burpo
Ok, I was really exciting reading this book. I'm a Catholic, so I was extremely interested in the supposedly true story of Colton, preacher's son, who almost died when he was just 4 years old. Miraculously he recovered and his parents were more than happy. The most compelling part of the story began when the boy starts to talk about Heaven, God, angels and other heavenly matters, which is both amazing but also a bit frightening at times. The reader cannot of course stop themselves from thinking that maybe the whole stroy is just a hoax since it's really hard to believe that a 4-year-old would actually talk about such serious things using such elaborate expressions like Colton did, no matter how great a believer you are. The book makes you THINK a lot about religion long after reading the book. Unfortunately, I was greatly disappointed when I found out (after runnig into an article on the Net), that the whole story was really a hoax.... The preacher made the thing up to become popular and earn money.... Well...that's confusing.... There is even an amazing movie based on this UNTRUE story... Despite the big lie, I would recommend it, if you need a moment of reflection :)

Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern
The book is really an interesting piece of writing. First of all it's written in forms of letters, emails, chat room messages and phone conversations. It presents a reader with a story of Rosie Dunne, whom we meet when she's something around 5 years old and the whole book ends up when she's something around 50. Don't let yourself think it's a piece of boring stuff. On the contrary, it's really compelling, funny, entertainig but also touching and romantic. I would concentrate on the ROMANTIC theme since this one is the most interesting as far as I'm concerned. Rosie and Alex are best friends since arely childhood. They understand each other without words, the rely on each other and can't live without one another. The problem begins when Alex has to move to America with his parents and Rosie stays in Dublin. They decide to keep on staying in touch no matter what. The whole sitiutoion makes Rosie realize that Alex is more important to her than she expected. When, at 18, she decides to reveal her feeling, a total unexpected thing happens to Rosie.... She becomes pregnant... And from then on, things get more and more complicated. Over the years, Alex and Rosie live their own lives, they have their ups and downs, but throughout that time, they keep in touch and talk about everything except the true feeling that binds them... Will they finally be together??? Well, you will have to read the book to find out. I truly loved it!!!!
The One and Only by Emily Giffin
I really enjoyed this book, even though it's really hefty, you read it very quickly because you can't wait till you know what happens next. The main character, Shea, finds herself in a point of life when she tries to define herself, her place in the world. She wonders whether her life in a small town in Texas is really all that she can achieve. Shea is not a typical woman. She's a great fan of football, she lives and dies for it. She greatly admires her best friend's father, Trainer Carr, the guru of the local football team. Everything in her life is comfortable and predictable but also deceptively perfect. Why do I like the book? Maybe because I see a bit of myself in Shea (not the passion for football) but her inner struggle, her second thoughts about her life choices and uncertainty that follows her throughout the story. Why do you sometimes hurt other people when you try to be happy for yourself??? Is it a sin to think about yourself, just for a change??? Find out and read the book. It' definitely NOT a waste of time:)
Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick
Ok, I do admit this is, by far, my favourite book. Partially probably because the film based on this book features my (oh my God) so hadsome favourite actor, Bradley Cooper, but also because I'm kind of into difficult guys.... Yes, that's true. And it's not pity! God, no!!! It's probably the fact that difficult guys tend to be a bit enigmatic, mysterious, deceptively shy. And that's what turns me on. What's more I'm a bit of a saviour type. Whenever I see someone with problems, I always try to find out more, get into the problem, get into the person... So, if you are even a bit like me, you'll find this book both compelling and hilarious at the same time (although the film made the whole story more hilarious). So, the main character, Pat, can't come to terms with the fact that his marriage is over, he stubbornly tells himself that he can turn things right, change himself, make himself a better person to get back his wife Nicky. This becomes his obssesion to the point that he's got some mental problems, loses the contact with reality and, what's the reason of all this, is that he lives in a deceptively created reality of his own. Together with his strange ideas, odd attitude towards the world and funny bahaviour makes the whole book a perfect read.
I greatly recommend it!!!

Passion...
I should start with a sentence: "Reading is my passion". The problem is, I have yet another passion which is even greater than reading. My daughter :) The result is that I can't devote as much time to reading as I would like to. But that's ok. Whenever I find an hour or two, I just make myself a cup of coffee, put on my tracksuit, warm woollen socks and disappear methaporically into the world of fiction :) I love touching stories, mystery, adventure and "real life" books. I believe that what we choose to read is the reflection of our souls. When you read, you always read between the lines and somewhere there, between the lines stands a young, strong and a bit romantic and daydreaming woman who wants to forget herself sometimes and cut off from the reality, just to unwind a bit... In this blog I'm going to show you a bit of me, all you have to do is read between the lines:) And you'll find me there:)
